Kristen Stewart hit the red carpet last night for the premiere of her newest flick, “American Ultra.”
While the actress rocked her Zuhair Murad sequined romper and showed off some serious leg, we couldn’t help but also notice that there was a little something missing when Stewart hit that red carpet: her shoes!
The actress chatted with fans barefoot, but quickly donned her sky-high Jimmy Choo Anouk pumps before walking the step-and-repeat.

It’s not the first time a major star has ditched her heels and gone barefoot. Here are a few of our favorites:
Emma Thompson at the 2014 Golden Globes
Thompson took the stage at the 2014 Golden Globes with a martini in one hand and a pair of Christian Louboutin peep-toe heels in the other. “I want you to know, this red, is my blood,” she laughed. She then tossed the shoes over her shoulder and announced the nominees for Best Supporting Actress.

Amy Adams at the 2014 Met Gala
We don’t know how many steps there are to traverse at the Met Gala, but we do know that more than one is too many for the super-shoe style the stars are expected to bring. Amy Adams took the safe route an carried her heels rather than risk a fall.

Shailene Woodley at the 2014 premiere of “Fault in Our Stars”
Miss Woodley is the biggest no-shoe offender on our roundup. The star almost always waits to put on her heels before a big red carpet, and we’re almost guaranteed to see her barefoot again when she’s leaving the red carpet. Such was the case when the actress was en route to her big blockbuster premiere for “The Fault in Our Stars” last June.
