The futuristic campaign images, shot by Steven Klein, feature Harington sporting a variety of footwear styles, including the metallic Belgravia high-top sneaker and embroidered Sloane smoking slipper (worn behind the wheel of a sports car, no less). Meanwhile, model Ondria Hardin co-starts in platform sandals with a metallic heel.
“Kit perfectly embodies the Jimmy Choo man. He has a natural and alluring masculinity and an effortless sense of style,” said Sandra Choi, creative director of Jimmy Choo, in a release. “His cool attitude and smoldering sensuality belie a true British gentleman.”
“I was very excited to be chosen as the face for such a highly regarded brand, and to play a role in defining who the Jimmy Choo man is,” said Harington in the release.
In addition to the print images, which hit publications in February-March, a series of short films will accompany the ads on Jimmy Choo’s YouTube channel.
