Wednesday may have been the most buzzy day at New York Fashion Week, thanks to many a glamorous front row.
Michael Kors drew quite a crowd for his presentation at Spring Studios: Kate Hudson and “Girls” star Allison Williams sat shoulder to shoulder up front, both wearing spring styles from the designer’s current line, with understated footwear options (nude patent pumps for Hudson and navy for Williams).
The designer took his final bow in gray New Balance sneakers before greeting his famous fans backstage. (To see what shoes Kendall Jenner strutted down the runway wearing, click here.)
But that wasn’t Kors’ only debut. The American tastemaker also launched an accessories line with Miranda Eyewear, attended by top models and fashion bloggers alike. Click on the gallery to see the shoes from Wednesday’s events.
Scoring the prime seat at the Marchesa show, Blake Lively wore lemon sky-high heels by Christian Louboutin with a matching black-and-yellow look by the elegant label. The new mom sat beside Vogue‘s Anna Wintour. This marked Lively’s second stop at the shows. Earlier in the week, she turned up at the Gabriela Cadena collection wearing her go-to Louboutins and a figure-skimming white-and-black dress.
Fresh from the “Fifty Shades of Grey” promo trail, Dakota Johnson made an appearance at Fashion Week, sitting beside Oscar nominee Julianne Moore at Boss. Both ladies chose understated black footwear, while over at Delpozo, fashion plate Olivia Palermo mixed things up in teal culottes and maroon boots (is it a hit?).
