The Cannes Film Festival was a parade of beautiful ball gowns over the weekend. From Cate Blanchett’s gorgeous blue dress by Giles to Aishwarya Rai wearing Elie Saab and Poppy Delevingne in Burberry, the were yards and yards of fabric … all covering the standout shoes.
Luckily, a few of the stars did offer a peek at their footwear. Diane Kruger was on hand for the showing of her new film, “Disorder,” wearing a chic little blue dress by Dolce & Gabbana, paired with Jimmy Choo’s strappy Minny sandal. At the “Sea of Trees” premiere later in the evening, she opted for a long gown by Prada, paired with platform pumps.
Natalie Portman took on the sheer-dress trend in Rodarte, with her new favorite pair of Dior heels.
Also notable was model Toni Garrn and actress Rossy de Palma in Giuseppe Zanotti heels at the premiere of “Carol.” And French actress Adele Exarchopoulos has been spotted several times in the Roger Vivier Ondulation heels.
