I often receive questions from friends, readers and social media-ites alike asking for advice on solving their hunt for the perfect ____ (fill in the blank) shoe. By often, I mean daily — and those blanks have been everything from wedding-heel predicaments to cool mandals on a budget or even service shoes for one plucky friend who recently pulled a Private Benjamin of sorts and joined the Navy.

Good bang for your buck and very flattering on the foot:
This has amazing lace (I have the heeled version), and men love its half-d’Orsay cut:
Let me know what you decide.
Well done, B.
