Adidas’ latest sneaker release is the Solar Boost — running shoes made with the brand’s Boost technology in the heel and an “s” curve construction for comfort and responsiveness.
Yet another collection featuring the Boost technology, these Adidas sneakers include open mesh for breathability and multicolor braiding, a heel-to-midfoot lockdown fit system providing a smooth transition and a laser-etched midsole with a color fade for depth and visual interest. Some versions also include Techfit uppers.
Boost, a cushioning technology Adidas introduced in 2013 for running, is made up of thousands of capsules that store and release energy efficiently in action, according to the brand. Kanye West’s popular Yeezy Boost collection features the same technology, and for fans of the Yeezy Boost 350, an all-black colorway is set to hit stores on Aug. 22.
The Solar Boost line includes five colorways for men and women, including grey on grey, solar pink, grey and white, light flash yellow and silver metallic, grey and mint, solar yellow and blackin addition to the core black and grey.
The running shoes are available at adidas.com/us/solarboost and retail for $100.
