Zappos.com is having some face time with consumers. The popular e-commerce footwear and apparel site is celebrating Father’s Day with the debut of a Pop Up Pop Shop. The store, the first ever for the company outside its headquarters in Las Vegas, will be at Westlake Center in Seattle on June 20 and June 21.
The pop-up will feature Father’s Day-inspired gifts from brands that include Cole Haan, New Balance, Adidas and The North Face, which consumers can purchase on-site, in addition to gift cards for hard-to-please dads. The retailer will round out the offering with services from local Seattle vendors, such as free haircuts and food.
Based on market research, Seattle was selected for the debut since it’s home to a good number of loyal Zappos shoppers. According to the company, the pop-up is meant to show these customers how appreciative Zappos is for their patronage by delivering a fun shopping environment.
For added entertainment, the pop-up will also include a social photo activation and a putting green complete with golf pros and a chance for shoppers to win tickets to a golf match.
