Giuseppe Zanotti has expanded into Central America. The brand opened a store in Panama City last week at the high-end Soho Mall. The mall boasts a long list of designer outposts, including Burberry, Chanel, Dior, Fendi, Jimmy Choo, Saint Laurent and Tods.
The brand says the new store is the ideal backdrop for a range of offerings, including shoes for men and women, sneakers, jewelry and handbags. Zanotti’s much-loved Jennifer, Devon and Rapture wedge sneakers are on offer, plus plenty of the label’s bold heels and sandals.
The label, which recently released its fall ’15 campaign featuring Karolina Kurkova, has debuted several U.S. and international retail locations this year. Rome, Macau, Cannes, San Juan and Dallas all had Giuseppe Zanotti boutiques open in the first half of 2015.
Nicki Minaj and Rita Ora have been spotted in custom shoes and boots by Zanotti for concerts and appearances. The designer told FN he loves celebrities from the music world.
“They are style icons and have great talent,” he says, “Their music entwines with art and entertainment, so they can be inspirational for a designer.”
