Amazon is investing again in its fashion game, and raising the stakes in Europe. The company announced a new photo studio based in London and brought on Suki Waterhouse as the Amazon Fashion brand ambassador for the European division of the company.
The new studio, at 46,000 sq. ft., is dedicated to creating fashion content and showcasing its product.
Among the other news is that Cass Bird, Julias Sarr-Jamois and Waterhouse will debut in the first Amazon Fashion Europe campaign. The opportunities and number of untouched markets in Europe for Amazon makes the high profile faces in the campaign and buzzy new studio a major investment in growing the European market for Amazon.
In the first quarter of the year, Amazon saw its international growth slow a bit, as a result of increasing instability in the global economy.
The company reports its earnings after market close today.
