London-based accessories designer Kat Maconie has secured a round of investment from Phoenicia International Trading Ltd. to fund the global expansion of her brand.
The capital will support her 2015 entry into the Middle East as well as expansion across North America. Additional targets are in the works for 2016. Maconie, who launched her line six years ago, currently has 50 distribution points on four continents, including two standalone stores in Chengdu and Shanghai in China.
