Grammy nominated singer-songwriter Meghan Trainor has partnered with Skechers for a global ad campaign set to debut later in 2015. The “All About That Bass” singer will appear in Skechers’ global marketing and social media campaigns through 2017.
Trainor’s ads will be seen on television, in print, online, outdoor and point of purchase. Fellow pop artist Demi Lovato also appears in Skechers’ Colorful Comfort campaign.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to partner with Meghan Trainor on a new bright and colorful women’s campaign that will be ‘all about the shoes,’” said Skechers President Michael Greenberg. “A true original, Meghan is a perfect fit for Skechers and our super successful, fashionable and comfortable footwear.
This will be 21-year-old Trainor’s first major ad campaign for a footwear brand. “I’m so proud to get behind a company that celebrates style and being true to yourself!” she said. “The shoes are SO comfortable and stylish, too. I know my fans will love this campaign.”
California-based Skechers has previously worked with other female pop artists, including Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Carrie Underwood.
Following her first hit, “All About That Bass,” Trainor’s songs “Lips Are Movin’” and “Dear Future Husband” have gone platinum. She is currently on her U.S. MTRAIN tour.
