“Go Walk” turned into more than just a campaign for Skechers on Sunday. The Manhattan Beach, Calif.-based shoe company hosted the Skechers Friendship Walk to raise money for children with disabilities and educational initiatives.
The sixth annual event drew in more than $1 million for the Skechers Foundation.
Ellen K. of “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” show, was in attendance, as was Skechers brand ambassador Brooke Burke-Charvet, baseball manager Tommy Lasorda and “The X-Factor” trio Sweet Suspense, and Kelly Brook.
“The energy at the Skechers Friendship Walk is amazing,” Burke-Charvet said. “Over 12,000 people came out [Sunday] in order to show their support for children with special needs and education! It’s incredible to see how the walk continues to grow each and every year!”
