Magic and FN Platform are ramping up their focus on retailers.
Advanstar has tapped Kristina Fields, Puma’s former director of marketing communications, for the newly formed role of senior director of retail relations for footwear. Fields will help lead and shape relations efforts for Advanstar’s footwear shows, which include FN Platform, WSA, Project Sole NYC and Sole Commerce.
“I am thrilled to have Kristina on board,” said Leslie Gallin, president of footwear for Advanstar Global. “It enables our business to provide deeper and important connections for both retailers and vendors.”
At Puma, Fields developed the PR strategy for the North American market and helped launch several major marketing initiatives and shoe releases. Most recently, she managed PR, advertising, entertainment marketing, and creative services and production for the Boston-based brand. She recently relocated to Los Angeles, where the Magic shows are based.
