Kristina Blahnik is always on the move.
The managing director of London-based Manolo Blahnik International recently hit the U.S. for a whirlwind six-city tour. In between meeting with top retailers, she found time to experience the local southern cuisine in Atlanta and take in Le Reve in Las Vegas.
What were Blahnik’s other highlights? Read on for the inside scoop.
New York (4 days): “At Robert, (inside the Museum of Art and Design in Columbus Circle), I savored not only the wonderful food, but also the clear nighttime view.”
Atlanta (8 hours): “I devoured chicken fried chicken in Mary Mac’s, which came with a rather unexpected sweet potato soufflé. We raced straight to the gym in Miami to burn off the calories.”
Miami (2 days): “We had some downtime at Soho House and on the beach luxuriating in the sunshine, and we [balanced] the Atlanta fried chicken with glorious sushi at Makoto in Bal Harbour.”
Dallas https://instagram.com/p/vRjRlrDAa9/?modal=true (22 hours): “I finally found the world’s best coffee at the Weekend coffee shop hidden within the Joule Hotel.”
Las Vegas (36 hours): “Seeing Le Reve at the Wynn. It was an edge-of-your seat, adrenaline pumping aquatic extravaganza. It seemed at one point that almost 70 people were in the water or midair simultaneously. I also raced to the infamous Las Vegas sign for the clichéd selfie.”
Los Angeles (2 days): “I stepped unsuspectingly into one of the most beautiful stores that we are stocked in, The Row on Melrose Place. It is a minimalist home of understated luxury with a fantastic narrative.”
