Talk about a homecoming.
Brazilian brand Schutz is partnering with fellow Brazilian supermodel Alessandra Ambrosio, who will rep the label through 2014 in its first global ad campaign.
“Every time I visit São Paulo, I make sure to check out the new styles in the store,” she told Spy. “To be aligned with a company I have loved for so long is exciting for me. It’s always a pleasure working with Brazilians.”
Ambrosio teamed with creative director Giovanni Bianco and photographer Gui Paganini to shoot the campaign’s barely-there imagery.
And when it comes to the spring collection, the supermodel counts the black suede and chain ankle boots as personal favorites. “I also like the neutral flat gladiators for daytime and all of the espadrille sandals,” she said.
The campaign makes its stateside debut next month, after a launch event hosted by Ambrosio at New York’s Madison Avenue Schutz store on Wednesday. Print ads will appear in Brazilian Vogue, and soon, New Yorkers will get a glimpse of an outdoor Schutz campaign.
So what does Ambrosio’s off-duty life look like? “Play time with my kids and getting drawn into ‘Game of Thrones,’” she admitted.
