Bionda Castana is bringing in new executive talent to help take the business to the next level.
The 7-year-old company hired former Versace sales exec Dean Cook as its first CEO. The executive came on board last week.
“The business is really growing, and we’re at the point where we want to achieve some new goals,” said co-founder Natalia Barbieri during the brand’s spring ’15 preview in New York.
For his part, Cook said he was attracted to the brand’s strong aesthetic and the vision of Barbieri and co-founder Jennifer Portman.
“It’s just something I believe in,” he said. “I think they’re on to something very interesting.”
Barbieri said she hopes to continues to expand the team, particularly as the company preps to open its first store in London next year.
