A host of big names — including Marigay McKee, Liz Rodbell, Reed Krakoff and Paul Andrew— turned out on Tuesday night to fete Vince Camuto’s new book, “Life of Style.”
Tommy Hilfiger, a longtime friend of Camuto’s, and his wife Dee Hilfiger hosted the celebration at Sant Ambroeus on the Upper East Side.
The ready-to-wear designer lauded his good friend’s second act – Camuto has spent the past decade building a formidable namesake firm. The footwear veteran, in turn, thanked his pal and toasted his wife and muse Louise Camuto, who has worked alongside him for many years and played a major part in the development of the book.
The 300-page coffee table tome, published by Assouline, features 250 photographs spanning from the beginning of his illustrious career to present day. In addition to key professional moments, he also highlights his three unique homes in Greenwich, Conn. and the Hamptons in Long Island, N.Y.
