Beyonce Knowles’ latest project might be the most buzzed about one yet.
The “Drunk in Love” singer is partnering on a sportswear line with Topshop, according to the retailer’s website.
The line will feature footwear, clothing, and accessories that would suit on the dance floor to the playing field. The 50-50 endeavor, called Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd., is named after Beyonce’s management company and is “not a collaboration,” according to Sir Philip Green, the international store’s owner.
“I could not think of a better partner,” Knowles said in a statement. “I have always loved Topshop for its fashion credentials and forward thinking. Working with its development team to create and produce a technical and fashion-led collection is exciting, and I’m looking forward to participating in all aspects of this partnership.”
Sportswear doesn’t seem to be going anywhere anytime soon, with Alexander Wang’s gym-approved lineup set to hit H&M’s shelves on Nov. 6.
Judging by Beyonce’s “On the Run” tour stage style (courtesy of Givenchy), shoppers are sure to find boots (of the over-the-knee and spiked ankle varieties) when her Topshop line becomes available in 2015.
