Michael Kors Pre-Fall ’15: Footwear Close-up

Continuing his takes on comfort-minded flats and mid-heels, Michael Kors’ pre-fall ’15 presentation set aside skyscraper heels and delivered elevated takes on sensible slip-ons, pointed boots and slide sandals.

While the ready-to-wear featured mod shapes, the footwear’s focus on flats was decidedly in the now. Skater slip-ons were given the tuxedo treatment with ribboned bows, and pointed Mary Jane flats reflected a more chiseled direction (a growing trend in shoe silhouettes). Sticking to the collection’s 1960s spirit, bowed sandals also stood on graphic block heels, while a modified go-go boot in leopard print is ready for the street-style stage.
