Very Volatile is cleaning up its look. The juniors’ brand turned to minimalistic and modern silhouettes for spring ’15 but, of course, with a few jazzy details mixed in: Think tropical, animal-print and color-blocking features. Plus, for color palettes, blush, mint, turquoise, coral and white are key. “We also find a lot of inspiration in vintage stores and street style and incorporate what we are seeing in high-end fashion,” said brand manager Jessica Rees. “We have incorporated artisanal details to give this season’s collection an organic and handcrafted appearance. The handpicked leathers, buckles, hand-stitching and fabric lining are all very important elements to making the shoe come to life for the consumer.” The collection, which retails for $69 to $100, will sell at Nordstrom.com, Dillard’s, Anthropologie and Free People.
