Runway Trend: Sneakers

Sneakers abounded on fall ’14 runways, from New York to Milan and Paris. Retro runners got the full luxury treatment at Chanel and Brunello Cucinelli, while Jeremy Scott and Fendi reinterpreted heritage laceups with heels. The clean white court sneaker — currently experiencing a street-style revival — continued to flex its fashion muscle at Ralph Lauren and Jacquemus. For the truly adventurous, Francesco Russo designed an avant-garde patent pump with a serrated sole for Christian Dior, and Manish Arora and MBMJ amped up the high-top to extreme proportions.
