With the holiday season in full swing, boutiques across the country are selling plenty of party looks and versatile booties that go from day to night with ease. Here’s what’s trending this week:
KRISTEN’S SHOE BOUTIQUE, Raleigh, N.C.
- Sam Edelman Petty suede bootie
- Lucchese cowboy boots
- Gabor black moto boot
Holiday trend: “We’re selling a lot of flats, dressy heels and riding boots. It’s been all over the board. Ivanka Trump, in particular, has been a strong brand for us,” said owner Kristen Greczyn. “Overall, I’m finding that if customers like it, they’re going to buy it. They’re not so concerned about price, and they’ll buy several pairs at a time.”
CRIMSON MIM, Los Altos, Calif.
- Freda Salvador Comet bootie
- Butter Dozen kitten heel
- Loeffler Randall Remy animal-print pump
Holiday trend: “This season, our customers are loving the statement shoe, whether that statement comes from a pop of color, a fun detail or an interesting print or texture,” said owner Christine Campbell. “They’re looking for styles to add to their wardrobe that are fun and different.”
BUS STOP BOUTIQUE, Philadelphia
- Bos. & Co. Krisper knee-high boot
- Fly London Lask lace-up boot
- P. Monjo P814 back-zip bootie
Holiday trend: “[My] customers want to invest in a versatile everyday boot. They want something that looks fashion-forward, sleek and cool, but that is also weather-appropriate and walkable, too,” said owner Elena Brennan.
SLOAN, Charlotte, N.C.
- Mou Eskimo camouflage-print boot
- Coclico Jacinthe wedge ankle boot
- Pelle Moda Rue open-toe bootie
Holiday trend: “Our customers are focused on comfort and wearability, but also style. Wedges are a perfect way for [women] to be comfortable but still feel dressed up. The open-toe bootie also continues to be a strong silhouette, as it easily translates from day to night and looks great with dresses for a holiday party,” said co-owner Jill Pleune.
