Dwyane Wade’s Dexter Shoes: In Good Taste?

Earlier this week, Dwyane Wade shared a few snaps of his latest “Dexter”-inspired sneaker on Instagram.

An interesting reference point for the Miami Heat player considering the Showtime show’s violent plot, and the fact that the series — which was set in Miami — ended in 2013.

The Li Ning shoes pictured on Wade’s account are white and feature a quilted texture around the ankle, white soles — and spattered red “blood” dripping down the shoe.

This comes weeks after Urban Outfitters issued an apology — via Twitter — for its controversial Vintage Kent State sweatshirt. Angered consumers took to social media to voice their disgust over the blood-spattered print that many said recalled memories of the 1970 massacre.

There’s no word yet whether Wade’s sneakers will go on sale, but the real question is: Would you wear them? Tweet us @FootwearNews and let us know.
