New Balance Celebrates American Makers

New Balance is asking consumers to “Join Us” for the second installment of its Made in USA advertising campaign.

Corresponding with the launch this week of New Balance’s red-white-and-blue 993 style, the promotion highlights the Boston-based brand’s history of domestic manufacturing and encourages other labels to follow suit.

“We saw a very positive response to last year’s ‘Join Us’ advertisement and the rest of our ‘Makers’ Made in USA campaign as demonstrated by social media comments, social engagement, site traffic and sales,” said Kevin Tripp, senior marketing manager at New Balance.

Continuing on from last year’s campaign, this latest installment is titled “America Is for the Makers” and celebrates this spirit through print ads and digital videos that provide insight into the brand’s factories, manufacturing lines and leather craftsmen.

New Balance’s U.S.-made 993 shoe retails for $190 and is available to purchase in the brand’s New York and Boston stores, as well as on its website.
