Media Bank: Choo Reteams With Kidman… Bongo Taps Vanessa Hudgens

Nicole Kidman headlines the new spring ’14 campaign for Jimmy Choo for the third consecutive season. According to a statement from Sandra Choi, the brand’s creative director, Kidman is a top choice for her ability to “exude feminine confidence” that “embodies the spirit of the collection.” In a series of photos shot by Sølve Sundsbø, Kidman sports the brand’s styles in a jungle-like atmosphere with a colorful backdrop. “It was fun to shoot in new and surprising perspectives,” Kidman said in a statement. “It felt a bit daring and dangerous.”

Bongo’s New Face
Bongo’s latest leading lady is Vanessa Hudgens, who starred in last summer’s youth caper “Spring Breakers.” In keeping with that film’s grittiness, a graffiti wall created by Hudgens serves as the playful backdrop for Bongo’s spring collection of footwear, swimwear and accessories. Previous spokespeople for the label, owned by Iconix Brand Group Inc., have included Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie and fellow “Spring Breakers” star Ashley Benson. Bongo retails exclusively at Sears and Kmart.
