French Dressing
Iconic French molded footwear brand Méduse, launched in 1946, is headed to the U.S. for spring ’15. The versatile collection of colorful sandals, shoes and boots for men, women and children is made of water-friendly PVC. Retailing from $40 to $99 for adult styles and in the $30 range for children’s, the line will deliver in January or February. Distributed through CaliEagle LLC in Dallas, the collection is targeted to department stores.

Crib Notes
Tween brand Lucky Sole is stepping into the baby category with the spring ’15 launch of Lucky Sole Minis, a collection of fashion-forward crib shoes. Styles include gladiator and footbed sandals, loafers and Mary Janes and are detailed with gold studs, fabric flowers, glitter and other feminine embellishments. Available in infant sizes 1 to 4, the shoes will come packaged in metallic Chinese takeout containers and will retail from $39 to $59 at kids’ independents and through Luckysole.com.

Funky Town
Portuguese fashion comfort brands Eject and Prophecy will land in the U.S. for spring ’15, distributed by Toronto-based Bos. & Co. After a brief hiatus from the market, Eject (pictured below), a collection of funky and dress casuals for men and women that plays up color and material, is relaunching with retail prices of $220 to $390. Prophecy, a series of men’s and women’s styles priced at $280 to $400-plus, has a dressier slant and maximizes the use of novelty leathers. Both lines are targeted to fashion boutiques and will deliver in February.

Double Exposure
Harbor Footwear Group, based in Port Washington, N.Y., has expanded its brand portfolio for spring ’15. The firm signed on as distributor for CCILU (pictured above), a trend-driven injection-molded footwear line owned by Singapore-based International Brand Partners Ltd. The collection, which launches in the U.S. this spring, retails for $30 to $70 and includes sandals and closed looks for men, women and children. Set to begin delivering in February, the brand is targeted to department stores and mid-tier and specialty retailers. Separately, Harbor Footwear has licensed the Marc Ecko Cut & Sew name from Iconix Brand Group Inc. The spring ’15 footwear offering from Harbor focuses on contemporary looks for men and boys, such as chukkas on lug outsoles, dress shoes on athletic-inspired bottoms and dressed-up casuals. Retailing from $150 to $200, the line is targeted to better-grade retailers and will start delivering in February.
