Swedish outdoor brand Icebug will launch its Zeal trail running platform with two styles for spring ’15. Marrying the new dual-density HGMS2 midsole (it stands for Holy Grail Midsole Soft & Stable) with two different outsoles, the lightweight Zeal shoes are engineered for low-to-the-ground stability. The Zeal OLX and Zeal RB9X (below) models are available for men and women, and both feature a nylon upper with a new lacing system. In addition, the OLX outsole uses 16 carbide studs for improved grip, and the RB9X outsole with a rubber outsole and specially designed lug pattern is designed for use on wet surfaces. The $185 Zeal OLX and $170 Zeal RB9X will deliver in March to online and independent running accounts.
