Buzz: Bionda Castana, Pretty Polly & More

Marital Bliss
Bionda Castana creators Jennifer Portman and Natalia Barbieri will launch a bridal line for spring ’14. Inspired by best-sellers from their main collection, the duo replicated the looks with a wedding focus. “We saw a gap in the market for more trend-driven bridal shoes,” Barbieri told Footwear News. The made-in-Italy collection will retail for $655 to $735.

Polly’s PJs
Pretty Polly is looking to get a leg up on the lifestyle market. The London-based fashion hosiery brand is expanding into sleepwear and lingerie for spring ’14. The debut collection — composed of mix-and-match tops and bottoms in lace-adorned and printed hot colors — is priced from $12 to $98. The offerings are slated to hit retail, including the Pretty Polly e-commerce site, by Valentine’s Day.
