Selena Gomez introduced her new collection to her 12 million Instagram followers last night.
Pictured wearing silver high-tops with black pants, a printed sweater, denim jacket and a beanie, the 22-year-old actress spread the word about her latest collaboration with Adidas Neo faster than any marketing campaign.
That’s because the “Spring Breakers” star has a direct connection to Neo’s target teen audience, and at the time of writing, the post had racked up 865,000 likes. How’s that for fast fashion?
As evidenced by the styling, Gomez’s new line is focused on layering, and combines what the Herzogenaurach, Germany-based brand is calling a “downtown feel in July, August and September” and a more “uptown feel in October, November and December” for its fall ’14 debut.
Printed lace, denim and soft tones like cream and mint feature early on in the offering, while evening options includes gold trim, fur and metallic details for winter.
The collection is available in stores and online today, and Gomez has been tapped to host Neo’s runway show in September.
