Kenneth Cole Inks Kids’ Deal With Synclaire Brands

Kenneth Cole Productions Inc. has entered into a licensing agreement with Synclaire Brands for children’s footwear.

Synclaire Brands — which already produces kids’ shoes for brands such as Michael Kors, Stuart Weitzman, Ivanka Trump and Tommy Hilfiger — will produce and distribute children’s footwear under the Kenneth Cole New York, Kenneth Cole Reaction and Unlisted labels. The collections will be sold at major department stores and select specialty stores.

“We are excited to further build upon the success of our children’s footwear business with Synclaire, the leader in the category,” said Kenneth Cole, chairman and CEO of his eponymous firm, in a statement. “This partnership presents an extraordinary opportunity for our brands, and we look forward to collaborating with their team.”

“We look forward to using our expertise to build the new lines and capitalize on their immense global potential,” added Evan Cagner, president of Synclaire Brands.
