Pentland Group plc is ending the year with two major promotions.
The British company has promoted Andy Rubin to chairman of its brand management division, Pentland Brands, a newly created role.
Andy Long, COO of Pentland Brands, will succeed Andy Rubin as CEO.
Both execs will assume their new roles on Jan. 1.
Rubin, a member of Pentland Group’s founding family, has been with the firm for 23 years, 16 of them as CEO. Andy Long has been at Pentland for nine years in various top roles.
“Both Andys are leading a successful brand building organization which will produce record sales and profits in 2014,” said Stephen Rubin, chairman of Pentland Group plc. “We wish them continued success in their new roles and look forward to many more years of global brand building.”
