Hunter Boot Builds Senior Management Team

Hunter Boot Ltd. is staffing up.

The London-based firm has added Ken Pratt as CFO; Niall Sloan as global design director; Dan Lumb as online director; and Ali Lowry as global communications director.

Pratt makes the move to Hunter from Signet UK, where he also served as CFO, while Sloan, who will oversee development and design of all product categories, most recently worked as senior women’s wear designer for Burberry Prorsum. Lumb comes from Reiss, where he served as director of e-commerce, launching the label’s global website. Lowry previously headed up PR and marketing at Giorgio Armani.

The announcement follows other recent executive arrivals: James Seuss joined the firm as CEO in December; Alasdhair Willis as creative director in February; and Fabrizio Stroppa as commercial sales director, also in February.

The fortified team will help Hunter make some major changes in coming seasons, according to Seuss.

“I am very pleased that Hunter has been able to attract such a talented group of individuals to join our team as we continue to build this iconic brand,” he said in a statement. “Starting with fall ’14, we plan to unveil a new brand and product direction, now that our senior management team is in place.”
