Ready, set, show. FFANY attracted top designers, retailers and footwear execs to the Big Apple for the June show. And the event circuit was running wild, too. On Tuesday, the Footwear Distributors & Retailers of America hosted its annual meeting, while later that night Schwartz & Benjamin celebrated 90 years (star partners Diane von Furstenberg and the Minkoffs stopped by). The official FFANY opening party kicked off Wednesday at China Grill, where insiders such as Diane Sullivan and Louise Camuto caught up. And as FN was headed to press Thursday, industry players were en route to both Two Ten’s WIFI gathering and its Young Professionals celebration, set to honor Chinese Laundry’s Bob Goldman.
