An asphalt-and-black sand runway was prime stomping ground for Haider Ackermann’s glistening oxfords. Covered in specks of gunmetal crystal beading, these elongated-toe flats gave the designer’s glamorously undone femme look a studied nonchalance. Complementary accessories such as knotted belts and provocative open waist coasts looked similarly raided from a man’s wardrobe. But like the shoes, flashes of metallic finishes were defiantly female.
