Stride Rite Debuts in Columbus
Stride Rite recently bowed its latest store at the Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio. The new location features the “Milestone” design concept originally introduced in March 2012 in Burlington, Mass. With clean lines and a bright environment with splashes of bright color, the space also features a fitting station, where children can get their feet measured by store staff. “We are excited to continue exploring new potential store locations that both fit the needs of our customer and help our busy moms,” Stephen Donnelly, SVP and GM of direct-to-consumer for Stride Rite, said in a statement. “This has been an exciting year for us.”
Shoe Carnival Bows 12
Shoe Carnival has a lot to celebrate this month. The Evansville, Ind.-based family retailer announced the grand opening of 12 stores in 11 different cities. The new locations are in Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Charlotte, N.C.; Chicago; Lansing, Mich.; St. Louis; Greenville, N.C.; Cincinnati; Atlanta; Phoenix; Louisville, Ky.; and Grand Rapids, Mich. “We are excited to be growing rapidly across the country,” SVP of marketing said Todd Beurman in a statement.
Ugg Introduces Houston Concept
Texas is getting a taste of the Outback. Ugg Australia recently launched its first concept store at The Galleria mall in Houston, which Brand President Connie Rishwain said was a natural fit for the label. “We’re thrilled to open our first Houston store in one of the city’s most fashionable locations,” she said in a statement. “The consumers in Houston are very fashion-savvy, and we’re confident that they will appreciate being able to see and experience the full breadth of our offerings in a beautiful environment in an equally great mall location.”
