Chromatic Heads to Chicago
Chromatic Gallerie will spend the summer with some Chicago friends. The brand opened a shop-in-shop inside City Soles on April 10 and will remain in the store through the summer. Through the brand’s website, consumers can customize their own footwear, choosing from 45 colors, three heel heights and three widths. The shop-in-shop is an outreach effort to introduce customers to the brand and its customization options. “We are really excited to partner with City Soles,” said Chromatic Gallerie founder Christina Luhur. “Our shop-in-shop model offers women the opportunity to try out Chromatic Gallerie shoes in real life before purchasing online and allows us to truly integrate the online and offline shopping experience for our customers.”
Ask Alice Bows in Nolita
Ask Alice, by designer George Mang, is headed to New York’s Nolita neighborhood. The brand will debut its first boutique on May 1 and will stock an assortment of styles including 4-inch heels, booties and flats. The 800-sq.-ft. store is set to feature an exposed brick wall and neon fixtures meant to evoke fun and whimsy. “Our store gives the customer the opportunity to experience something they can’t find anywhere else — a complete collection of shoes by George Mang, who is one of the most talented designers in the business,” CEO Sebastian Marzaro said in a statement.
