Koolaburra Launches Second Asian Flagship
Following the successful launch of a branded store in Hong Kong, Koolaburra recently opened a second location in the city at the New Town Mall. The 538-sq.-ft. store features the brand’s signature store look, with wood and metal fixtures displaying the full footwear offering. According to CEO Jeff Rawlings, Asia as a whole continues to present new opportunities. “Our growth throughout the Asian market is tremendous, with partners in Japan, Korea and Taiwan seeing the same excitement we are seeing in Hong Kong and China,” Rawlings said in a statement. “We are proud to see our brand spread its wings.”

Nike Debuts Its Largest Running Shop
Nike is picking up the pace in New York. The company recently bowed its largest running store to date in the city’s Flatiron district. The 9,000-sq.-ft., two-story store offers an array of running, training and sportswear products. Incorporating many new tech elements, the shop includes a service station with a digital gait analysis. Run through an iPad, the system is designed to help consumers choose the best running shoes for their needs. “[This is] a great opportunity for us to share our passion for running by offering a wide variety of runner services, from marathon training programs to the most innovative new products,” said a Nike spokeswoman.

Camuto to Debut Two Doors
Next week is going to be a big one for Vince Camuto, who is preparing to bow two new stores, according to the company. The shops will be located at Wheatley Plaza, in Greenvale, N.Y., and Americana Manhasset in Manhasset, N.Y. With the openings, the company now has five retail locations in the U.S.
