Josmo Shoes’ brand roster just got bigger.
The West New York, N.J.-based company announced it has signed a licensing agreement with KMJ Holdings, a division of Bluestar Alliance, to produce and distribute girls’ footwear under the Kensie, Kensiegirl and Mac & Jac brands. The brands were acquired by KMJ from Liz Claiborne Inc., now known as Fifth & Pacific Cos., in October.
All three collections are expected to launch at retail in April, with a wide range of fashion looks including wedges, boots and ballet flats. Distribution will target department stores and better independents.
Sam Esquenazi, VP of Josmo, said the company is excited to add the brands to its portfolio, citing their “high-energy designs and strong positioning.” He added, “This deal gives us the opportunity to expand our offerings to existing customers and further penetrate the children’s market.”
