Geox Launches Sneaker Line

With the London 2012 Olympic Games at the door, Geox is launching a sneaker collection that pays homage to the different national flags of the world.

The line, called Snake, includes nine styles for both men and women retailing for 99 euros, or $129 at current exchange, as well as seven children’s models priced from 55 euros, or $72. All the shoes combine technical fabrics with suede and featuring contrasting trimmings.

Among the various color choices is a blue-red-and-white combination in a nod to the Union Jack, or a white-red-and-green option as a reference to the Italian flag.

The collection will hit Geox flagship stores and multibrand boutiques worldwide in April.
