Donald Pliner is no stranger to Sin City. The luxury shoe designer travels more than 200 days a year and makes Vegas a frequent stop. And when he’s not spending time with his family, he’s exploring the Strip. Here, he reveals his winning choices.

1. Best place to end the night:
“O” at Theatre at the Bellagio Hotel. “Broadway doesn’t come close to what they do. It’s mind-boggling.”

2. Best French fare:
Joël Robuchon Restaurant at the MGM Grand. “He’s one of the top French chefs.”

3. Best coffee shop:
Espresso at Caesars Palace. “It’s really great. It’s as close to Italian espresso as an espresso shop can be.”

4. Best show on the Strip:
Anything by Cirque du Soleil. “There’s a new one almost every time you’re there.”

5. Chicest new hotel:
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. “The best new hotel out there. Fabulous. My wife was totally in awe. The ‘it’ hotel in Vegas.”

6. Best place to walk the dog:
Four Seasons Hotel. “It’s hard to find grass in Las Vegas. They have great grass.”
