Exec Moves: Bearpaw’s New CFO… Novascarpa Appoints VP

Bearpaw Business
Bearpaw Footwear has named Bob Krieger as its new CFO, the company announced in a statement Monday.

The new addition to the staff is part of an expansion plan for the growing brand, according to Wayne Cottrell, who was previously both CFO and COO. Cottrell will solely act as COO going forward.

Krieger comes to Bearpaw from Perennial Pension & Wealth Inc., where he was co-founder and CEO. His background in finance also includes serving as a full-service financial adviser at Franklin/Templeton mutual funds and Merrill Lynch.

“Bob comes to us with a wealth of knowledge in the financial arena and will complement our existing executive staff very effectively,” said Cottrell. “The growth that Bearpaw is experiencing requires expertise in all areas of our business.”

Sales Start
Novascarpa Group LLC hired Fritz Schneider as VP of sales, the Boise, Idaho-based distributor announced Monday.

Schneider’s background includes 28 years as an executive-level manager, with an emphasis on sales, marketing and consulting. Terry Stillman, Novascarpa co-CEO, with Rocco Azzarito, said in a written statement that Joya, the brand the company currently distributes, is penetrating the marketplace faster than expected, and the firm anticipates continued growth in the U.S.

“Fritz will help us with focusing our firepower on Joya and taking it to the next level here in the U.S.,” Stillman said.

Campbell White will continue to serve as the company’s national sales director.
