Spring Preview: Saucony

Saucony is updating some of its most popular styles — both franchise models and minimal new shoes — for spring ’12. A slight tweak to the geometry of the popular Triumph, Xodus, Hurricane and Guide shoes sees the pitch of the midsole reduced from 12-millimeters to 8-millimeters to reduce impact on joints. Meanwhile, the ultra-minimal Hattori shoe has been given a weatherproof boost with water-repellent softshell, and the Mirage 2 has an updated upper for better fit in the forefoot. Styles range from $90 to $140, and will deliver to independent running shops, online accounts and athletic sporting goods stores beginning in November and continuing through March.
