Under Armour is making changes in its executive suite.
Wayne Marino is retiring as COO of the Baltimore-based firm. Kip Fulks, most recently EVP of product, has assumed the COO duties, effective immediately. Most recently EVP of product, Fulks will continue to oversee product design and development.
“Wayne has made significant contributions to the Under Armour brand and has been a true leader in the development of an operational platform to support a multi-billion-dollar global business,” said Kevin Plank, CEO and founder of Under Armour, in a statement.
Plank has charged Fulks with initiating a search for the newly created position of chief supply chain officer.
Under Armour has also established the role of chief performance officer, appointing company board member Chip Adams to the role. Other developments include the promotion of Adam Peak to the post of SVP of U.S. sales.
“The new leadership positions and alignment of our business solidify Under Armour’s foundation for long-term success and demonstrate our commitment to delivering best-in-class product,” Plank said.
