Snooki Gets Hit with Suit

Will she wear slippers to court?

SRG Ventures, a New York-based licensing company that had been overseeing plans for Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi merchandise, including her line of slippers with Happy Feet, has slapped MTV’s infamous “Jersey Shore” starlet (and her management firm, Neon Entertainment) with a $7 million lawsuit alleging that Polizzi failed to act on deals the firm presented to her and that she negotiated with other brands behind SRG’s back.

In October, Polizzi filed her own suit against SRG, seeking to terminate their agreement on the grounds that SRG had failed to live up to the financial terms of the deal.

Representatives for SRG Ventures declined to comment on details of the case “on advice from his lawyer.”

However, a rep for Neon Entertainment said Polizzi was not shying away from a legal confrontation: “Ms. Polizzi disputes SRG’s version of the facts and looks forward to her day in court.”
