Men’s Buzz: Ashworth, Church’s, Harrys of London

Golf Pro
Golf brand Ashworth is launching footwear — for on and off the course — for fall ’11. The Adidas-owned label will debut four styles on June 16. The Cardiff is a golf shoe with tumbled leathers and suede accents on a spikeless sole. For off the course, the Encinitas loafer offers a lightweight construction, while the Leucadia saddle shoe pairs suede and leather uppers on a vulcanized sole, and the Ash Standard Issue features a classic plimsole design. Retail prices range from $70 to $140, and the collection will be available at

Church Time
Starting this fall, Church’s shoes will offer three men’s styles on recycled Vibram outsoles, made from manufacturing waste. The styles — two lace-ups and a boot — retail for $570 to $595. Additionally, the brand has revamped its Shanghai style, originally produced in 1929, with a distressed look. The shoes have been washed and dried seven times to create the worn-in look. Retail prices range from $1,170 to $1,270.

Harrys Law
Harrys of London has partnered with Savile Row tailoring house Gieves & Hawkes on several exclusive footwear styles for men. The collection, available now, includes a kudu suede chukka boot and penny loafer. Retail prices range from 295 pounds (or $478 at current exchange) for the loafer to 365 pounds (or $591) for the chukka boot. The shoes are being sold at Gieves & Hawkes and Harrys of London retail stores, as well as online at and at premier retailers across the globe.
