Handbag and accessories brand Cambardi is entering the sandal market. Designer Toyin Badiru turned to the summer season in the Amalfi Coast and Capri, Italy, for inspiration on the just-launched collection, which was manufactured in Positano, Italy. The 28 styles use bright colors with Swarovski crystal embellishments on leather and patent leather. Retailing for $200 to $330, the line is sold online at Cambardi.com, and will soon roll out to select department stores and high-end boutiques.
Jerusalem Sandals is paying tribute to ancient Roman and Greek styles with its spring ’11 debut. The new 27-style collection features natural leather in three colors — brown, black and camel — and was produced in Jerusalem. Priced between $58 and $69, the line is sold at Kitson in Los Angeles, Finery in Seattle and select retailers in Japan.
