Faces at the American Image Awards

Industry insiders stepped out at the 33rd annual American Image Awards to honor fashion’s heavy hitters. Hosted by celebrity stylist Robert Verdi, the event, which drew 750 attendees and brought in more than $1.1 million, benefited the Prostate Cancer Foundation. AAFA President and CEO Kevin Burke and Chairman Rick Darling welcomed the crowd before Verdi kicked off the ceremonies. Honorees included Footwear Brand of the Year Ugg Australia; Brand of the Year William Rast; Humanitarian Award recipient David Koch; and Donna Karan’s Mark Weber as Man of the Year. Whoopi Goldberg also stopped by to help recognize Fashion Maverick honorees Ruben and Isabel Toledo, while Manolo Blahnik USA chief George Malkemus introduced Retailer of the Year Neiman Marcus.
