Rocky Brands Inc. is expanding its accessories offering. The Nelsonville, Ohio-based company has signed a multiyear licensing agreement with 3D Belt Co. for the design, manufacture and distribution of belts and small leather goods under the Rocky and Georgia Boot names. Included under the Rocky label will be product in the outdoor, Western, work and duty categories. The Georgia line will have a work focus. The collections are set to deliver in October, retailing from $15 to $50 for belts; $30 to $40 for wallets; and $25 to $35 for cellphone cases.

Wax Works
Benjo’s LLC just launched its first accessory collection with one item: Benjo’s Colored Dress Shoe Lacing. Benjo’s offers waxed cotton dress laces priced at $6 a pair, in 30-inch lengths. To make the laces, Benjo’s waxes each individual strand and then weaves them together to create a durable and long-lasting product. The unique waxing formula creates a stiff lace with leather-like qualities. The color palette features eight options, including Wet Canary (yellow) and Monster’s Spit (light green). Made in Kanpur, India, in collaboration with haberdasheries Martin Patrick and Hubert White in Minneapolis, the inaugural line is also available in national retailers and online at Benjosmpls.com.

Team Spirit

Portland, Ore.-based Columbia Sportswear Co. has teamed with Jeffrey Kalinsky to create a line of outdoor-inspired looks. Kalinsky, founder of Jeffrey New York and EVP of designer merchandising for Nordstrom, contacted Columbia with the idea for the partnership, inspired by his own wardrobe’s mix of high-quality down outerwear and premium fleece. The result was five men’s products — the Bugaboot Boot, a down jacket and vest (below), and fleece pullover and jacket — that will sell for $180 to $495. The $180 waterproof boot, Kalinsky said, will be like no other on the market. “It has no nods to outdoor preppy,” he told Footwear News. “It looks very modern and very aerodynamic. I love that it is all black with that shot of bright blue.” The line will be available in mid-September at Jeffrey New York’s flagship in Manhattan and five Nordstrom locations.
