Vivid architectural themes that recall the Art Deco era dominate Diego Dolcini’s fall ’10 collection. The 45-style collection features circular motifs in chain and leather, delicate wood wedges, pointed-toe stilettos and platform pumps embellished with colorful fabric flowers and leaves. With fur-trimmed booties and Swarovski-encrusted evening shoes, the collection was inspired by the classic 1940s films “Casablanca” and “Citizen Kane” and the modern architecture of Seattle’s public library and the Baha’i Centre in South Africa. Priced between $750 and $1,995, the Diego Dolcini collection is offered at Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Gregory’s in Dallas and Bellhaus in New York.
