Christian Siriano is upping his presence at Payless ShoeSource with an expanded collection for fall ’11.
The designer is branching out from his dress shoe looks, adding a more moderately priced line. (Price points were not disclosed, but current retail is between $25 and $60.)
The collection will include up to 20 styles of footwear and handbags, and feature on-trend details such as shearling and suede on a variety of boots, casuals, flats and sandals.
“I have such a broad range of fans from 10-year-olds to 60-year-old women who buy a $60,000 dress, so I have to figure out a way to give something to every [customer],” Siriano said.
The designer also said he has considered bowing a higher-priced footwear line to correspond with his ready-towear collection, but for now, he will focus on his work with Payless.
“This collaboration is growing,” Siriano said. “I will have another line [in the future], but not now.”
